My Chance to Dance is a dance / exercise program designed for children and adults with physical and/or developmental disabilities. Each dance is choreographed with easy, repetitive movements to help build on success and avoid failure. The program uses music that is entertaining and memory provoking. My Chance to Dance won the 2002 Michigan Governor's Amateur Athletic Event award, which opened many doors for us. We are also a tradition at the Michigan Special Olympics, where we teach our program to over 3000 athletes each year. We see a wide variety of abilities in our classes, and all are able to participate on some level. We encourage those with wheel chairs and walkers to attend. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate! Your first class is FREE at any of our evening classes.
